Go Cubbies!

May 13, 2008

I went to my first Cubs game last night.  Very fun, but this should sum it up:

And now

January 22, 2008

it’s snowing but will probably turn into rain. I would absolutely love a crazy blizzard to hit right now, something tells me piles of snow outside my wall would actually warm the place up! Not to mention I wouldn’t have to go to work :)

I slept

in a hooded sweatshirt, with a heating pad on, with a blanket and a down comforter. My apartment is a modern day igloo. I need a bear skin rug, STAT

Brrrr

January 21, 2008

it is SOOO cold outside. Went for lunch and some errands and saw a guy wearing SHORTS!! WTF, it’s 22° outside!!

Holidays I should have off….

January 21, 2008

It is cold as freakin’ balls here today. My apartment was so cold, I could not get out of bed. I stayed in bed an hour late. oops, but my boss never comes in before 10 so I knew I was ok.

Then the streets are totally deserted…for a second, I thought the Cloverfield monster was doing it’s thang.

Finally, I just realized I forgot to put eye makeup on, which means I look like a psycho because my eyelashes are naturally different colors so it looks like i put mascara on one eye and not the other.

sigh. MONDAY.

Oh yeah, Go Giants!

PS today is supposedly the most depressing day of the year? What’s the story there?

Double header weekend

January 20, 2008

Yesterday was our movie doubleheader. 11:30am Cloverfield and 1pm 27 Dresses. J, Brian and I hit up Cloverfield and then Cait kindly saved seats in the 27 Dresses theatre so we could run in when movie number 1 was over.

Very good, but I sincerely suggest taking a Dramamine prior to this movie. And don’t go hung over.

Totally a chick flick, but cute and funny. Judy Greer is HILARIOUS.

Today is the football double header. It’s freezing outside thus my apt is freezing too. I have spent the day cooking in order to keep my apt as warm as possible. Go San Diego! Go Giants!

Damn that Steven King movie, “The Mist.” Now I’m worried about all the creatures that are on their way to attack us!
