It’s pouring rain here this am

but YESTERDAY I went for a nice long trek and came across this little gal of course it’s a terrible picture so you can’t see the little baby bunny that was hanging out right by her, but you get the idea

Well a lot has been happening

after 13 hours in the mini-van and a stop for BBQ in Toledo (google famous Toledo restaurants and you get Famous Dave’s BBQ, which I did not know was a chain. sigh, I tried. It was still good)

I’m now in my new apt sans furniture and am awaiting the movers. Since I don’t have anything else to offer yet, I will give you more pics from J&T’s wedding which are rolling out from the official photographers

Wow

So we had dinner last night at The Stanton Social.  Seriously, one of the best dinners out in NYC.  It was unreal.  They do small plates designed to share along the table.  I can’t do justice but will list the deliciousness:

• Potato and goat cheese perogies
• Sweet and Sour chicken and cashew spring rolls
• Maine Crabcake ‘corn dogs’
• French Onion Soup dumplings
• Grilled apple and brie quesadilla
• Chicken and waffles
• Mu Shu Shrimp
• Old School Meatballs
• Mac and Cheese with Chorizo and sun dried tomatos

Not to mention s’mores cake, warm donuts, and makers mark milkshake shots.

Things explode where I live now.  There are earthquakes where I’m moving in 2 weeks.  I think the world is trying to tell me something like I should move to a farm in the middle of nowhere!

Twins

My friend Jen and I went for a run yesterday morning in Central Park. It was a little chilly so I figured I should wear a long sleeved T-shirt. I really only have one, that a friends boyfriend gave to me so I figured why not, put it on and went out to meet her.

Unfortunately for us, she had the exact same thought…

Actually he is still in DC but he is coming here tomorrow I think and speaking at the UN.  Some guy is already standing outside CVS hawking buttons with a handmade sign that reads “Poor People Friend, $2 or 3 for $5″
