Hot Chocolate 15k

I did it! I ran a 15k   The year started with an 5k in March, so I’ve tripled the length of races I’m running this year.  Considering I’m a lazy bum, I’m pretty happy with that!

I have a couch!

For the first time since I moved out of my mom’s house almost 12 years ago, I own a couch.  A real couch, that I can actually lay on.  Ah- mazing

2009 Chicago Marathon

Starting temps below 32 degrees makes for some cold viewing!

Winner Samuel Wanjiru is in the yellow tank and gray shorts, he won and broke the course record, 2:05:56!

Great Chicago Fire Run

A four mile fun run hosted by Fleet Feet Chicago and led by a history buff from the Chicago Tribune.

Starting point at Mrs. O’Leary’s barn “and when the cow kicked over, she winked her eye and said, it’ll be a hot time in the old town tonight, FIRE, FIRE, FIRE!”

We came, we saw, we conquered the trivia – you have HP trivia, J&I know the answers.  Aquamente and Alohamora ought to prove that!!  We were sorted, we pulled mandrakes, we threw quaffles, I bought a chocolate frog and got a Hermione trading card, obvi.  No pictures allowed!  OOPS.
